Helpful StudyTechniques

You have to see a fact 3 times to learn it properly
so revise what you learn daily, then weekly and then
revise it again a month later. Make a plan for this.
Remember to give equal time to all subjects.
Colour-code your work, for example: in French
highlight the masculine words in blue and the
feminine ones in pink.
Use acronyms to help you remember facts,
for example: PMAT (Passed My Algebra Test)
Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase, Telophase.
Always remember to do your learning off?
homework too, not just your written homework
Always end study session by recalling material
you have studied.
Use websites like www.skool.ie to help you with your
homework and study.
Make notes in bullet points.
Use mind maps. Use spider diagrams.
Write Key Points as you study.
Use index cards as a revision aid (write key
points on them).
Look for key points and test yourself; don?t just
read, do written questions.
Reward system-have treats planned to reward
yourself when you complete your homework/study.
Make it fun.
